74% of Californians want to see an end to sanctuary cities in their state, according to a poll conducted by UC-Berkeley, one of the most liberal universities in the entire nation.
California is the home to multiple cities which refuse to abide by or cooperate with federal immigration laws.
The sanctuary city policy in San Francisco played a significant role in the death of Kate Steinle.
Along with 74% of all Californians wanting an end to sanctuary cities in their state, the UC-Berkeley poll also showed that 65% of Hispanics, 70% of Independents, 82% of Republicans, and, amazingly, even 73% of all Democrats surveyed similarly desire an end to sanctuary cities in California.
