Dear Friends of LIFA

Dear Friends of LIFA:

The war President Trump and the Americans who voted for him are fighting resembles the one President Lincoln fought; the issue continues to be Slavery AKA Cheap Labor.

The Democrat Party, as in the Civil War era, is prioritizing the enrichment of their wealthy friends. Who are they? They are the industrialists in the fields of agriculture, hospitality, and construction, among others. They oppose enforcement of our immigration laws and the availability of entry jobs for young Americans, and they exploit illegal aliens.

These aliens are paid substandard wages, made to work longer hours, and do not get health insurance.

To ease their guilt the Democrats persuade schools, hospitals, churches, and government welfare agencies to provide help to the new slaves.  The business lobby makes big money from this, which is why Cheap Labor seems to be the biggest driver of lobbying money in Washington today.

Being slaves in America is a better life than what these aliens can offer their children at home.  These are the people who cannot make it in their own countries.  Early in life their children are forced to help them with their work.  Perhaps that is why it is easy for the parents, when they are deported, to abandon their children here.

They are vulnerable people, easily manipulated and victimized.  Their coming is a new phenomenon, for they never had the money, leadership or strategy to adventure so far from their homes.  They are being used as weapons against our country.  The invasion is endless.

President Trump is attempting to make good on his promise of healing our immigration Achilles Heel any way possible. Magazine’s report “Guatemala May Build “Legal Wall Against Migrants” gives us hope for a win-win solution.

It reads: “President Trump’ deputies may soon finalize a ‘safe third country’ deal with Guatemala that would allow U.S. border officials to legally block most migrants from even applying for asylum.  Asylum seekers from any country who show up at U.S. ports of entry or are apprehended while crossing between ports of entry could be sent to seek asylum in Guatemala instead.”

We can expect to hear the anti-American Left protest.  They need the status quo.  But we believe that the partnership between Guatemala and the United States will help Guatemala, with American aid, become prosperous and able to absorb the Central Americans with legitimate claims for asylum. Let us pray that happens.
