A word from LIFA President

Dear friends of LIFA:

This year’s Independence Day was full of significance and contrasts.  Not long ago our July Fourth celebration brought people together.  It was a day when we all felt proud to be Americans and celebrated with friends and family.  We dressed up in patriotic attire, watched a parade, and went to a traditional cook out with hot dogs, baked beans, and apple pie while eagerly looking forward to the local fireworks!!

Generations came and went, and the tradition has stayed alive in the hearts of many, but sadly not in the hearts of all.  Brace yourself.  Here comes the Left’s protest of the celebration of our Independence Day in our nation’s Capital. The displaying of two “tanks” and the cost of the fireworks!  (By the way, a Bradley armored vehicle is not a tank.)

A manufacturer we thought was American pulls back patriotic merchandize from the shelves because the athlete making millions of dollars in their commercials considers the 13-star Betsy Ross flag on the shoes a symbol of “racism!”   Not long ago an American employer would have fired the un-American spokesman.  Some would have sent him to visit his psychiatrist to treat his obsession.  Spanish speakers might call that “the Don Quixote Fighting Windmills Syndrome.”  This weirdo fights… flags!

And that’s not the only disappointing role model our impressionable young Americans have.  What do you call two Democrat candidates for the presidency of the United States that go campaign in… M E X I C O?  Lost in Space?  The world must be laughing at their absurd, grotesque, and contemptible behavior.

We hope friends of the candidates will tell them not to go campaign in El Salvador, Honduras, or Guatemala, even when both come from states with high incidence of voter fraud by illegal aliens.  After they humiliate themselves campaigning where they should not and speaking broken Spanish to Central Americans no reasonable American-born or legal immigrant of Latin American ancestry will ever take them seriously.

We have work to do.  Our country’s freedoms and way of life have never been closer to extinction.  The inmates want to run the asylum, and there is nothing they won’t do to get the power.  It is up to the patriotic, God-loving, and sober thinkers that we must rely upon.  God is on our side.  President Trump might just be the one to bring our country together again. For who can complain when his/her standard of living rises after finding a good-paying job? Or when their family’s safety is prioritized?

A Supreme Court Justice, Felix Frankfurter, once said: “We have enjoyed so much freedom for so long that we are perhaps in danger of forgetting how much blood it cost to establish the Bill of Rights.”  And I might add:  Even if you use those rights to make a fool of yourself.

God Bless the United States of America!

Respectfully,

Amapola Hansberger

President
