At 1PM today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida public schools will begin requiring all High School Seniors to pass a civics exam similar to the test required for immigrants to be granted Naturalized citizenship. Florida Citizens’ Alliance was present by invitation when the governor made his announcement in Naples this afternoon with Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran by his side. Both the Governor and the Commissioner stressed the importance of teaching our younger generations the value of knowing the Declaration of Independence and its history in preparation for lifelong citizenship.

2019 has been a very impactful year for the Florida Citizens’ Alliance, and we Thank YOU for all you’ve done to help. It’s been our privilege to meet and collaborate with so many new groups and individuals like yourself across the state. We’re very excited as we look toward 2020 and what can be accomplished in bringing Education Freedom to K – 12 students. As Dan Bongino said, “Freedom of Choice in Education is the Civil Rights issue of our time.”

Speaking of Dan Bongino, tickets to “An Evening With Dan Bongino” February 13, 2020 are an ideal Holiday or Valentines Day gift. Go to FLCAEvents.com

Throughout the rest of December, Pastor Rick and I encourage you to listen to SNTRadio.com for a nice blend of joyous Christmas music. This Florida-based online Christian Music station is very supportive of FLCA and our outreach into the faith-based community.
