Huffington Post and CAIR push Fox News to fire Jeanine Pirro thereby enforcing Sharia law’s prohibition of criticizing Islam.

CAIR is calling on all advertisers to boycott Fox News because of what they call Islamophobic hosts Tucker Carlson and Jeanine Pirro.

Huffington Post published an article titled “Jeanine Pirro’s A No-Show On Fox News After Dig At Ilhan Omar’s ‘Unconstitutional’ Hijab.”  The article states in part: “Pirro was slammed after last week’s program when she claimed that the religious hijab worn by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) may be “antithetical to the Constitution.” In fact, the First Amendment guarantees free expression of religion.”  Additionally, the New York Times reports that:  “her monologue questioned a Muslim lawmaker’s loyalty to the United States.”

First, Jeanine Pirro did not say Omar’s wearing the hijab was antithetical to the Constitution.  Pirro said “Is this adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?”  Jeanine Pirro was not saying the hijab was unconstitutional but that is the way it is being twisted by HuffPost, New York Times, CAIR and other leftists. She said that Sharia law, not the hijab, is antithetical to the United States Constitution.  Pirro is correct that Sharia law is antithetical to the United States Constitution.  (See note below regarding Pirro’s interpretation of Quran regarding the hijab.)

Second, Jeanine Pirro is rightfully questioning Rep. Ilhan Omar’s adherence to the United States Constitution and “the lawmaker’s loyalty to the United States” given Omar’s allegiance with the Hamas and Hamas linked Council on American Islamic Relations.  Rep. Ilhan Omar strongly supports the Hamas inspired Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel.  The United States designates Hamas as a terrorist organization and considers Israel a crucial ally.  Rep. Ilhan Omar raises funds for CAIR whose:

•    Founder, Omar Ahmad, told a Muslim crowd “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

•    Executive Director, Nihad Awad, said “I am in support of the Hamas” movement.

•    Chapters demonstrated in the streets across America to show their support for Hamas even declaring that “We are Hamas.”

•    Executive Director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch, Mustafa Carroll, told a crowd at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas in 2013 “If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.”

Jeanine Pirro certainly has substantial grounds to question Rep. Ilhan Omar’s allegiance to the United States.

Florida Family Association has prepared an email for you to send to urge Fox News officials to keep Jeanine Pirro on its network.  Unfortunately, Fox is blocking emails from activist websites.  Therefore, emails must be sent through each subscriber’s email client.

I am shocked that Fox News is cowering to CAIR and Huffpost demands to fire Jeanine Pirro.  Jeanine Pirro was not saying the hijab is unconstitutional but that is the way it is being twisted by leftists. She said that Sharia law, not the hijab, is antithetical to the United States Constitution.   Pirro is right.  Much of Sharia law is antithetical to the United States Constitution.

Jeanine Pirro rightfully questioned the loyalty of Rep. Ilhan Omar to the United States given her allegiance to the Hamas sponsored Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel and ardent support for Hamas linked Council on American Islamic Relations.   The United States designates Hamas as a terrorist organization and considers Israel a crucial ally.  CAIR founder, Omar Ahmad, told a Muslim crowd Islam is not in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.

Pirro asks important questions for millions of conservatives.  Please restore the Justice with Judge Jeanine show to Fox News.

Note regarding Pirro’s interpretation of Quran 33:59 regarding the hijab.

Jeanine Pirro said that Quran 33:59 commanded Ilhan Omar to wear a hijab.  The hijab was derived from an Iranian fatwa in the 1970s not from the Quran.

Many scholars believe the Quran does not mention the hijab.   Quran 33:59  “O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.”  This verse states to “draw cloaks close round.”  This verse does not mention headdress.

Women in Iran did not wear the hijab prior to 1970s.  The hijab was invented in the early 1970s by Mussa Sadr, an Iranian mullah who had won the leadership of the Lebanese Shi’ite community.   Muslims believe that the Quran was written over a period of 23 years, beginning on 22 December 609 CE, when Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632, the year of his death.   This means the hijab was invented 1300 years after the Quran was written.   Islamic law and fatwas did not start forcing women to wear the hijab until 1981.   “In 1981, Abol-Hassan Bani-Sadr, the first president of the Islamic Republic, announced that “scientific research had shown that women’s hair emitted rays that drove men insane.” To protect the public, the new Islamist regime passed a law in 1982 making the hijab mandatory for females aged above six, regardless of religious faith. Violating the hijab code was made punishable by 100 lashes of the cane and six months imprisonment.  By the mid 1980s, a form of hijab never seen in Islam before the 1970s had become standard gear for millions of women all over the world, including Europe and America.”

British Muslim Qanta Ahmed wrote on March 18, 2017 in The Spectator UK:  “As a Muslim, I strongly support the right to ban the veil.  At last, the European Court of Justice has made a stand for European values.  Rigid interpretations of the veil are a recent invention. They’re derived not from the Quran or early Islamic tradition but from a misogyny which claims a false basis in the divine.”

Pew Research found that only forty three percent (43%) of American Muslim women wear hijabs according to an article published by NPR on April 21, 2011.  The NPR article states in part “The split between women who’ve covered and women who’ve never done so has existed for decades. But now a generation of women is taking off the headscarf, or hijab.”  Therefore, after several years of “a generation of women taking off the hijab” the number of Muslim women now wearing the hijab in America is likely much less than forty three percent.
